I took the pictures used in this montage on July 17, 2006, at around 5 p.m. People were waiting for a screening of “The Band Wagon” during the HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival. I made the montage the following day using Photoshop CS2 and completely forgot about it until a few days ago, when I began plans to shoot a series of similar montages in Los Angeles.
